Michaelyn Osmonson
Michaelyn has been the Emergency Management Specialist for the City of Ann Arbor
since October 2024. Prior to working for Ann Arbor, Michaelyn held multiple positions
with the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office from 2020-2024. She obtained her
undergraduate degree in criminal justice/criminology in 2020 from Eastern Michigan
University, and her Masters Degree in Emergency Management in 2023 from the John
Jay College of Criminal Justice. Michaelyn obtained her State of Michigan Professional
Emergency Manager (PEM) designation in 2025.
