Eric Smith
Eric is the newly elected District 6 Liason. He is the Emergency Manager and Director Of Emergency Services for Montcalm County. Eric is in his 30th year with Montcalm County, having started as part time EMT. He has been in his current role just over 5 years, having been the Deputy Director for several years previously. In addition to MEMA, Eric serves as Vice Chair of the Regional Healthcare Coalition, the Board of Directors for the Society of Michigan EMS Instructor Coordinators, and sits on the State EMSCC. In all of his spare time, Eric plays baseball in the summer, and hockey in the winter, and lots of golf all year long.
