Robert Seeley

 

Rob is the Chief of Emergency Management for Oakland County. With over 13 years in Emergency Management, Rob oversees an office of 12 professionals who specialize in planning, exercises, training, hazard mitigation, community engagement, and all other tasks responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of a major county emergency management program. He has served on the Michigan Citizen-Community Emergency Response Coordinating Council since 2022.

Previously, he was in the Michigan Air National Guard as the J4 for the Joint Staff, in charge of all logistics fori Mchigan National Guard Domestic Operations. Rob retired from the Michigan National Guard in October of 2022 after 34 years of service. Rob was also the deputy emergency manager for Genesee County from 2016 to 2017, and a Dearborn Police Officer from 1995 to 2015 where he was the deputy emergency manager for the City of Dearborn from 2010 to 2015. Rob lives in White Lake, Mich. with his wife Valentina and two children, Katherine (20) and Rachel (17).
